How To Use The Phish Alert Button – Outlook Windows Desktop

The Phish Alert Button allows users to report emails as potential phishing emails, and get instant confirmation of whether that email is a phishing test or if it was a potential phishing email. This also forwards a copy of the email to briteCITY and KnowBe4, providing them with new examples of real-world phishing attack methods.

The Phish Alert Button is located in the “ribbon” in Outlook 2013 and 2016 (once installed):

Selecting an email and then clicking the Phish Alert Button will prompt the user to confirm the submission:

If the email they are reporting was sent by POLARITY as a phish test email, they will receive the following confirmation:

If the email they are reporting was NOT sent by POLARITY, they will receive this message, instead:
