Cyber Attack Prevention

The Prevention & Content Filtering component protects your business from known malicious websites and web services.  Within each network, we build configure both Content Category Settings and Security Settings.  These policies guard against the attacks explained below.

Unsafe Web Surfing by Employees

Whether it is accidental or intentional, the Security Plan watches all web traffic on each computer, insuring known malicious sites are blocked from access.

Email Phishing Scams

Phishing is the attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (money) by disguising as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

Malicious Crypto-mining

Crypto-mining can be done legally or illegally.  Because mining requires compute power, there is malicious software that can run on company computers and perform mining tasks to the benefit of the miner.  This typically happens without the knowledge of the person using the computer.

Content Category Settings

The Content Category Settings block known pornographic and adult content from being accessed on a work computer.
